Sedatephobia: The Fear of Silence. 50 years ago this word was rarely used. The amount of noise we hear on a daily basis is disgusting, and I myself feel a large amount of anxiety and panic when immersed in pure silence. That was when I was a kid. I meditated. I pushed out those screams I was hearing and learned to listen to the wind more. Sedatephobia. It has increased in humans. Put down your screens, close your eyes and open the third.
